WHAT KIND OF MINISTER DOES THE CHURCH NEED?

WHAT KIND OF MINISTER DOES THE CHURCH NEED?

Colossians 1:24-29 KJV 24.Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:
25.Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
26.Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27.TO WHOM GOD WOULD MAKE KNOWN WHAT IS THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF THIS MYSTERY AMONG THE GENTLES; WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY:
28.Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
29.Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

1)ONE WHO SUFFERS FOR YOU
1 Corinthians 8:9 KJV 9.But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
Matthew 20:27-28 KJV 27.And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
28.Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
THERE ARE THINGS WE CAN DO FOR JESUS.
CHRIST SUFFERING WAS ON THE CROSS 2000 YEARS AGO BUT WE AS CHRISTIANS ARE SUFFERING DAILY FOR JESUS. MINISTERS GET ATTACKS OUTSIDE OF THE CHURCH.
Hebrews 10 KJV 1.For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2.For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3.But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4.For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5.Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6.In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7.Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8.Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9.Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10.By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11.And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12.But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13.From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14.For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15.Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16.This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17.And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18.Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19.Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20.By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21.And having an high priest over the house of God;
22.Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23.Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24.And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25.Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26.For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27.But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28.He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29.Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30.For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31.It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32.But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
33.Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
34.For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
35.Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36.For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37.For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38.Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39.But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
THE DEVIL WILL TRY AND KEEP YOU OUT OF CHURCH.
MINISTER WILL HAVE TO ENDURE ATTACKS WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE CHURCH.
A MINISTER IS WORKING FOR THE LORD.

2)COMMISSIONED BY GOD
THE STEWARD OVERSEES THE HOUSEHOLD FOR THE OWNER.
Acts 9:15 KJV 15.But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
CHOSEN BY GOD
IT MUST BE FULFILLED CAUSE THE CALLING WAS FROM GOD.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED THEN YOU MUST MEET THE NEEDS.
IT DEPENDS ON WHAT HE HAS.
PRESENT IN ITS FULLNESS.
HE CALLS THE SIMPLE AND HELPS THEM TO PRESENT HIS WORD.

3)MINISTER IS TO PRESENT THE GREAT MYSTERY OF GOD.
WHAT IS THIS MYSTERY?
CHRIST ACTUALLY LIVES IN THE BELIEVER.
WE HAVE GOD, JESUS CHRIST, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.
John 14:16-18 KJV 16.And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17.Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18.I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
SPIRIT OF TRUTH
CHRIST CAME TO LIVE IN THE BELIEVERS AFTER HIS DEATH IN THE FORM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
HOLY SPIRIT KNOWS WHAT IS FOR US.

Romans 8:9 KJV 9.But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
JESUS LOVES EVERYONE. EVERYONE IS ACCEPTABLE TO HIM.
IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO OR WHAT YOU ARE, HE WILL DWELL WITHIN THEM.
1 Peter 3:18 KJV 18,For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
2 Corinthians 1:21-22 KJV 21.Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
22.Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
YOU KNOW HE LIVES WITHIN YOU CAUSE HIS SPIRIT LIVES WITHIN YOU.

4)WARN AND TEACH
WE PROCLAIM HIM
NO HOPE WITHOUT HIM
Acts 4:12 KJV 12.Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
CHRISTIANITY IS NARROW TO ONE AND THAT IS JESUS CHRIST.
MINISTER NEEDS TO WARN ABOUT TRUSTING IN ANYONE ELSE.
GOAL IS TO REACH EVERYONE TO CHRIST.
WE ARE ONLY PERFECT BECAUSE WE ARE COVERED WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
GOD IS CONCERNED FOR THE LOST.

5)MINISTER GO PAST YOUR OWN LIMITS
GOD SHOWS US WHAT HE’S GOT.
OUR STRENGTH IS PUSHED TO THE LIMIT BUT WE WILL NEVER KNOW GOD’S LIMIT.
OPEN UP YOUR HEART AND LET GOD SHOW YOU AS A MINISTER THAT HE IS MUCH MORE POWERFUL AND CAN SHOW YOU MUCH MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER BE ABLE TO SHOW YOUR CONGREGATION. LET HIM BE THE LEADER.

CONCLUSION:
SHAME ON ME IF, I TAKE MY CALLING LIGHTLY. THIS GOES FOR A MINISTER ARE A BELIEVER THAT FEELS THAT GOD HAS CALLED THEM TO MINISTER IN SOME WAY FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.
GOD’S WIN WILL LAST FOR ALL ETERNITY.
2 Corinthians 5:20 KJV 20.Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

WE ARE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST.

CHRIST THE RECONCILER

CHRIST THE RECONCILER

Colossians 1:20-23 KJV 20.And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcileall things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
21.And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath hereconciled
22.In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23.If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of thegospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Romans 3:23 KJV 23.For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23 KJV 23.For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Something has to bring us back from the separation of Jesus Christ.

1)All reconciliation is through Jesus Christ.
All things need to be reconciled to God.
2 Peter 2:4 KJV 4.For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

Revelation 12:7-9 KJV 7.And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels.
8.And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9.And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
THROUGH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST THAT WAS SHED ON THE CROSS, EVERYONE HAS OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE  ETERNAL LIFE.
ARE YOU TRYING TO PAY THE PRICE IN ANOTHER WAY? EX.(GOOD DEEDS)
HAVE YOU EXCEPTED THE PRICE HE HAS PAID.
UNTIL YOU MAKE PEACE YOU DO NOT HAVE PEACE.

2)IMMIGRATION POLICY
ALL OF US WERE ALIENS AND ENEMIES UNTIL WE FOUND CHRIST.
1 Peter 3:18 KJV 18.For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
SO WE COULD BE HOLY IN GOD’S SIGHT.
BELIEVING AND HAVING FAITH FOR WHAT CHRIST DID. I CAN GET CITIZENSHIP WITH CHRIST.
1 John 1:7 KJV 7.But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
IN THE EYES OF GOD THE BLOOD OF JESUS LOOKS WHITE AS SNOW. WE AS CHRISTIANS ARE COVERED WITH CHRIST BLOOD.
Ephesians 2:10 KJV 10.For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Romans 8:16 KJV 16.The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

WHAT KIND OF FAITH DO YOU HAVE?
WE SHOULD BE WILLING TO SERVE HIM, GIVE TO HIM OF OUR TIME,   AND SHARE OUR TALENTS THAT HE HAS BLESSED US WITH .

ARE DID YOU MAKE A PROFESSION OF FAITH?
Hebrews 11:1 KJV 1.Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Psalms 23 KJV 1.(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3.He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

WILL HIS PRESENCE BE WITH YOU WALKING THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH.

JESUS BROKE DOWN THE WALL FOR US TO COME TO HIM BY HIS SACRIFICE ON THE CROSS AT CALVARY.

MOTHER’S DAY SERMON

MOTHER’S DAY SERMON

1 SAMUEL 1:10-18 KJV 10.And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.
11.And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
12.And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.
13.Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.
14.And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
15.And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.
16.Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.
17.Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.
18.And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat,and her countenance was no more sad.

ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE HAVE AN IMPACT ON US IN OUR LIVES. OUR MOTHERS ARE THE BIGGEST IMPACT IN OUR LIVES. EVEN WHEN THEY ARE GONE THEY WILL HAVE AN IMPACT ON OUR LIVES.
DESIRE TO BE EXCELLENT.

CHARACTERISTICS OF EXCELLENT MOTHERS

HANNAH WAS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF AN EXCELLENT MOTHER

1)PRAYERFULLNESS
HANNAH HAD NO CHILDREN. IN THE BIBLICAL TIMES A WOMAN THAT COULD NOT HAVE CHILDREN WAS CONSIDERED A FAILURE TO HER HUSBAND AND THE COMMUNITY. THERE COULD BE A LEGAL DIVORCE IN THOSE TIMES IF A WOMAN COULD NOT HAVE CHILDREN AND THE MAN DIDN’T WANT HER. SO HANNAH WENT TO THE LORD ON HER BEHALF PRAYING FOR A CHILD. SHE BECAME THE MOTHER OF SAMUEL(THE LAST OF THE JUDGES BEFORE THERE BECAME KINGS)
SAMUEL WAS THE FIRST MAN THAT ANOINTED THE FIRST KING NAMED SAUL.
HE ANOINTED THE SECOND KING NAMED DAVID.
SAMUEL WAS THE BEST PROPHET AND HANNAH WAS NOT ABLE TO HAVE A CHILD.
GOD CAN PROVIDE A CHILD FOR YOU AND HELP YOU TO BE AN EXCELLENT MOTHER .
GOD HAS THE POWER TO MAKE YOU AN EXCELLENT MOTHER.
YOU DO NOT HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS. ALL THAT BELIEVE IN JESUS HAVE PROBLEMS AND SOME ARE SERIOUS.
HANNAH TOOK HER PROBLEM TO THE LORD. TO THE PERSON WHO CAN HANDLE YOUR PROBLEM.

2)SELF DENIAL
1 SAMUEL 1:11-13 KJV 11.And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.
12.And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.
13.Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

HANNAH PRAYED AND GAVE SAMUEL BACK TO THE LORD. YOU ARE NOT GIVING HIM UP. EVERY CHILD YOU HAVE IS THE LORD’S AND YOU NEED TO LET GO AND GIVE THEM TO THE LORD. THE LORD IS THERE TO PROTECT THEM WHEN WE CAN’T. IF YOU DON’T GIVE THE LORD CONTROL THEN YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR CHILDREN IN A POSITION IN FRONT OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE. WE AS MOTHER’ THINK THAT WE CAN DO BETTER AND TRY TO TAKE CONTROL OF THE SITUATION WHEN SOMETIMES THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN HANDLE IT.
PROVERBS 22:6 KJV 6.Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
SELF DENIAL TO GET THEM BACK TO GOD.
THEY WILL KNOW WHERE TO GO WHEN THEY FALL TO THE BOTTOM.
GOD HONORS THE SELF-SACRIFICE OF MOTHERS.
THE FOUNDATION OF THIS LIFE BY MOTHERS IS TRYING TO KEEP THEM CLOSE TO THE LORD.

3)THANKFULNESS AND PRAISE
SHE GAVE SAMUEL BACK TO THE LORD AT 3 YEARS OLD. SHE DIDN’T FEEL SAD.
1 SAMUEL 2:1-2 KJV 1.And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.
2.There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
HANNAH’S JOY WAS IN THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF WHAT WE DO FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. KEEP MOVING FORWARD FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. YOU NEED TO STAY FIRED UP FOR GOD. HER JOY WAS IN GOD’S DELIVERANCE. HER TESTIMONY WAS NOT HIDDEN IN HER PAST BUT PROCLAIMED OUT LOUD.
1 SAMUEL 2:4-5 KJV 4.The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.
5.They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.
IT’S NOT HOW YOU START IT’S HOW YOU FINISH.
GOD WILL ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS.
SING HIS PRAISES.
GOD ANSWERED HANNAH’S PRAYERS AND GAVE HER A TOTAL OF 7 CHILDREN. YOU CANNOT OUT GIVE GOD.

CONCLUSION:

WHAT KIND OF MOTHER ARE YOU? ARE YOU SACRIFICING THEM TO GOD OR THE WORLD. WE DON’T GET DO OVERS. THIS WILL BE FOR THE LIVES OF THEIR CHILDREN. THIS SHOULD BE A SPECIAL DAY AND EVERYDAY AS A MOTHER IT SHOULD BE SPECIAL.

NO MAN IS POOR WHO HAS A GODLY MOTHER.

PHILIPPIANS BOOK OF JOY

Philippians 4:17-20 KJV 17.Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. 18.But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
19.But my God shall supply all your need accordings to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
20.Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

They gave on their own. It was a sacrificial giving like making a deposit in our account. God saw giving to others and He was well pleased.
Matthew 6:20 KJV 20.But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Doing for others as a Christian gives you rewards in heaven.

Before Jesus died on the cross, the smell of animal sacrifice was pleasing to God for your sins.
Romans 12:1 KJV 1.I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Living sacrifice.
Spiritual act of worship.
God sacrificed His Son.

2)Promises meets all your needs.
God is the great provider.
He will, can and is more than able to meet your needs.
Make sure He is your personal God.
What ever the need He can provide.
Need hope, peace, relief from depression, renewals of self-esteem, and financial help.
God will provide.

3)Resources.
Meet needs to His riches there is no limit on Him at all.
With God all things are possible.
Got to believe that God can do it.

4)Great mediator.
God does nothing apart without Jesus.
1 Timothy 2:5 KJV 5.For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
No access to God without the blood of Jesus.
Romans 6:23 KJV 23.For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
You have instant access to God if you are in Christ Jesus.
Talk to God through Jesus.

Conclusion:
Do you have time to accept the gift of eternal salvation from Jesus Christ?
If Jesus would die on the cross for our sins and for us to be able to be in heaven one day then accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. Then give the gift of your testimony and start doing what God wants you to do for others in your life.

21.Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
22.All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar’s household.
23.The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

1)God to be praised.
1 Corinthians 10:21 KJV 21.Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils:
ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.
Praise Him as God. He rules and governs it all.
Colossians 1:16-17 KJV 16.For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth,
visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were
created by him, and for him: 17.And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Verse 17. AND HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS, AND BY HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST.
If you don’t believe God is in control, there is not much hope for us.
God is in control.

2)Praise Him as our Father.
We have chosen to live as we please. God has still kept this world here.
God is love.
God sent His Son to declare His love for us and His Son’s sacrifice.
1 Peter 3:18 KJV 18.For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring
us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
You may not have riches here but you sharing Jesus with others you will be rich in Heaven.
Riches in heaven will last for eternity.

Pray this way cause He is our Father.
Matthew 2818-:20 KJV 18.And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

the world. Amen.

God wants to share all to you.
Romans 8:16-17 KJV 16.The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17.And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also
glorified together.

3)You should love everyone that is a believer.
No division in the family unite of believers.
Chrisian leaders should greet all believers.
If they don’t greet their fellow believers with love, then what would they do to others?
Philippians 2:3-4 KJV 3.Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better
than themselves. 4.Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

4)Wish grace upon each other, Also pray for mercy.
1 John 4:19 KJV 19.We love him, because he first loved us.

CONCLUSION

Don’t allow circumstances to not Praise God or forgive yourself.
Devil is the accuser
Romans 8:9 KJV 8.But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have
not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
You are worthy because of the BLOOD OF JESUS.
God didn’t discriminate.
All believers are brothers and sister in Christ.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN BORN AGAIN?
IF YOU HAVEN’T THEN THAT IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO?

EXAMPLE OF ONE BELIEVER

Philippians 2:19 KJV 19.But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be ofgood comfort, when I know your state.

Timothy was a believer of Jesus Christ and these are traits to follow by.

1)Willing to be second.
Not everyone is willing to be second.
Someone who is sent.(Apostle)

2)Genuine concern for others.
Without this you will not be sincere.
Galatians 6:2 KJV 2.Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Fear will always be there.
You can’t help but go do what The Lord is calling you to do knowing that someone
might be saved.
Concern for others is an elite category.

3)Deny yourself.
Being like everyone the me, myself and I is the way most people are.
Few put others first.
1 Corinthians 10:24 KJV 24.Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.
If we focus on our needs we can’t focus on others.
God is going to test you.
Hebrews 13:2 KJV 2.Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Matthew 19:21 KJV 21.Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the door, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Luke 12:15 KJV 15.And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

4)Tried and tested disciples.
Acts 16:1 KJV 1.Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:
1 Corinthians 4:17 KJV 17.For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful inthe Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.
Timothy had a close connection to Paul.
Learn to be happy when you are going through troubled times.
Sacrifice our needs for others.

Conclusion:
For Timothy others were more important than the worldly things.
This was a tried and true disciple.
Putting what God wants us to do in this world is not easy to do.
In our world today there are so many things that can and will seem more important than
trying to win others to Jesus.
We as one of God’s children are all disciples and can do just like Timothy. We have something
in our life to relate to people that even our Pastors may not be able to relate to. You may have
experienced things in your life before coming to Jesus and now that you have you will have a testimony
that will be truly powerful. God has a place for you and job to do for Him. Just pray about it and
ask Him to reveal it to you. Then stay in the Word, pray and go out into the world and be the disciple
He has created you to be.
Matthew 28:19-20 KJV. 19.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, andof the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus is the Living Water

John 7:37-53 KJV  1.In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any manthirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38.He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39.(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
40.Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
41.Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?
42.Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, whereDavid was?
43.So there was a division among the people because of him.
44.And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.
45.Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?
46.The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.
47.Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?
48.Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?
49.But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed.

52.They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth noprophet.
53.And every man went unto his own house.

1)Jesus is the source of life.

2)Faith is the tool.
John 1:12 KJV 12.But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Words receive and belief come hand in hand.
A lot of people believe in Jesus but a belief of you is to receive.
1 John 5:12 KJV 12.He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

3)His well of water will not dry up.
Verse 39.(But this spake, he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should not receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
Source of this water is Jesus the Holy Spirit part of the God head.
Jesus intercedes for us.
John 10:10 KJV 10.The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Acts 3:19 KJV 19.Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Turn to God so that your sins will be wiped away.

Regardless of the wilderness we live in God is there.
Exodus 17:6 KJV 6.Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders ofIsrael.
This same rock was struck on Calvary.
1 Corinthians 1:9 KJV 9.God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Word is Jesus Christ.
John 1:3 KJV 3.All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

You can have life because of Christ.
He is the bread and the water.
Verse 44.And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.
No one laid a hand on Jesus.
John 7:50-51 KJV 50.Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)
51 Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?
Nicodemus came to visit Jesus at night. He was thirsty for more than religion.
He was now risking everything for Jesus. He found the living water.

4)Verse 53.And every man went unto his own house.
They went back to their home dry and empty. Without Jesus.

Conclusion
Jesus offers living water.
Everyone is invited to drink.
Water is coming from the rock, which is Jesus Christ.
If you go back to your ways you will die.
Hebrews 9:27 KJV 27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Romans 6:23 KJV 23.For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

WHAT ON EARTH AM I HERE FOR? IF YOU ASK YOURSELF THAT QUESTION THEN YOU NEED TO FIND JESUS AND LET HIM BE YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR.
HE IS MINE AND I WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT HIM IN MY LIFE. HE IS MY ROCK AND WILL BE UNTIL THE DAY I MEET HIM.

FIND OUT WHO JESUS IS AND HE WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

JESUS WAS BORN A JEW

1)THE PEOPLE WERE WATCHING JESUS.

But when His brothers had gone up, then
He also went up to the feast, not openly,
but as it were secret. Then the Jews sought
Him at the feast, and said, “Where is He?”
John 7:10-11

2)THE PEOPLE QUESTIONED WHO JESUS WAS.

And there was much complaining among the
people concerning Him. Some said, “He is good”;
others said, “No on the contrary, He deceives
the people.”
John 7:12

Good man does good things and has good morals.
Good man cannot heal the sick or do the miracles
that Jesus did here on earth.

Deceiver will lead people away from their religion.

But some of them said, “He casts out demons by
Beelzebub, the ruler of demons.” Others, testing
Him, sought from Him a sign from heaven.
Luke 11:15-16

“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I
will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 10:32

Even after Jesus spoke these words to the people, they
didn’t feel He was worth defending.

3)THE PEOPLE WERE WHISPERING ABOUT JESUS.

However, no one spoke openly of Him for fear of the Jews.
John 7:13

Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the
temple and taught.
John 7:14

4)THE JEWS QUESTION JESUS EDUCATION.

And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this Man know
letters, having never studied?”
John 7:15

Jesus didn’t have proper teaching. According to the Jewish
elders Jesus was unqualified by their teachings.

Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but
His who sent Me. “If anyone wills to do His will, he shall
know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or
whether I speak on My own authority. “He who speaks from
himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of
the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in
Him. “Did not Moses give you the law, yet none of you keeps
the law? Why do you seek to kill me?”
John 7:16-19

Jesus response was teaching was from God cause He sent Jesus.
They had to forget their learning to believe what He said.
Chose to do God’s will. Find out the power.

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:13

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old
things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17

Jesus can make a new person out of you from the inside and the
outside.

“Now is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name
under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for
those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than
an unbeliever.
1 Timothy 5:8

Religion doesn’t work. Not a one of us keeps God’s law. We are all
born sinners. If you are trying to keep the law without Christ, you
can’t.

CONCLUSION: WHO DO YOU THINK JESUS IS?

IF YOU THINK RELIGION WOULD FULFILL, YOU THEN WHY ARE YOU SO EMPTY?
A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE.

For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:13

THEREFORE THE LAW WAS OUR TUTOR TO BRING US TO CHRIST, THAT WE MIGHT
BE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH.
GALATIANS 3:24
JOHN 7:10-19 WAS THE SCRIPTURES TAKEN FROM KING JAMES VERSION OF BIBLE.
THIS WAS MY PASTOR’S SERMON TODAY.
